Most important when practicing Ayurvedic body-work is to maintain your own health and spiritual wellness to keep authentic in your offerings and serve from a space of fullness. One can only serve from a full cup, not an empty cup. One must be established in their own meditation, yoga, and pranayama before providing this work. You need not be an expert but ensure you are keeping true to your daily spiritual practices such as your daily meditation, pranayama and yoga asanas. One's own daily practice and regularity with dinacharya will prove the effectiveness of their touch and offerings to others. Ayurveda is an experiential science, and to serve Ayurveda in its most authentic manner, we must take the responsibility in first applying Ayurvedic principles in our own life. From that space, we may share this knowledge with many others to continue spreading health and happiness from a space of authentic joy and not just theoretical understanding.
